    Bio

The name is taken form Deniro's line in The Untouchables - 'You're nothing but a lot of talk and a badge'. Deeply influenced by Dj Shadow's Endtroducing, B&T's Greatest Hints (2009) was the result of an intensive creative process of sample manipulation and sound processing. Co-produced by the celebrated musician Eraldo Bernocchi, the album featured the indie-dance vocalists Liz Melody, Curtis Santiago, Ruben. Mixed by the renowned sound engineer Taketo Gohara and mastered by Giovanni Versari, Greatest Hints was released in 2009 through Still Fizzy Records and received critical acclaim in Italy. And now Gilberto brings us Spaghetti Blaster: In a world of funk dominated by male voices, Gilberto takes a different approach and uses all female vocals, stripping out the guitars and horns and using keys as the lead. The result is an infectious groove that sounds like an old school boombox driving down the city streets. Electro funk is the foundation, with elements of jazz, Hip-Hop, and rock throughout. The band is live - Enrico Gabrielli (PJ Harvey, Calibro 35), Giulio Martinelli, Paolo Zoboli lay it down with guest vocalists Heidi Vogel (Cinematic Orchestra), Cecilia Stalin, Tasita D'Mour, Laura Vane, Katie Miller, and Eagle Nebula. Produced by Antonio Cooper Cupertino and Gilberto himself, mixed by Michele Pazzaglia and mastered by Giovanni Versari (Muse), Spaghetti Blaster brings a diverse and solid cast together.
