J.Smo is a multi-faceted creative, musicpreneur, adjunct professor, supportive husband, and father of 3. He began releasing music digitally in 1999 as Hip Hop collective BUNKS, based in Manchester, Tennessee (the home of Bonnaroo). Now in Sacramento wearing many hats, the journey he began in 2013 concludes with the February 28, 2021 release of The Joshua Story (Earth Bound Mix); a 13 track album hand crafted by the creative mastermind Quique Cruz based in Santa Ana, California. Quique composed the music around J.Smo’s acapella recordings, an unorthodox approach to everything else in J.Smo’s discography.
